My fiancé is a musician/songwriter.
He recently started playing weekly
at a new gig. The first time he
played this gig, we invited a lot of
our friends.
Unbeknownst to me,
he wrote a new song to play at this
gig. After they had settled and every-
one was on their way to having fun,
he announced that he had a very
significant song to sing. He
began to sing his "proposal song"
to me with all our friends to hear.
It was a very special song and everyone
got it as soon as I did. We are
still engaged and due to be married
in the spring of 2002.
I'll never
forget it and I ask him to sing the
same song whenever we are in the
company of other friends who were
not present that night.
